Gliga Violas
The great Luthier Vasile Gliga has become one of the best known and most admired violinmakers in Europe due to his meticulous craftsmanship and the lovely wood he finds in Carpathian Mountains, in the Italian valley from where it is said that Stradavari himself brought the wood for his instruments.

An excellent European instrument, designed in a Stradivari pattern. Back made from medium flamed maple, with similar sides and scroll. Top made from medium-grain spruce. Finished with hand-applied oil varnish.

Handcrafted from solid flamed maple and resonance spruce, these violas are more curly than the school violas. Constructed with inlaid purfling and fitted with ebony fingerboard, chinrest, pegs, saddle, nut and tailpieces.
